We should set up our own company. We would probably have Jemima playing every part! Wait until I win the lottery......... Should we film in HD ? LOL Nah...old school Technicolor (some Chinese company owns the rights) and then convert it to HD...

I've got HD now.... Brilliant. But I'm psst that I have to pay £10 a month to sky for the privilage. I think it should be transmitted free. At the moment there's not many channels in HD.
You over the water got HD? If so, how popular is it?

Don't think it reaches this far North...... ha ha It is a bit expensive. Is it a big improvement?

Yep, it really is. The detail is fantastic, every little goosebump and minute hair shows up (around the nipples).

I bought a new HD ready TV, when my old one blew up.... I never intended to go up the HD route, but after paying £700 for a TV, I thought I should get full value for my dollars. Already had full Sky, so another £10 a month, plus a High Def Box, I now get HD TV! I can really recomend it. The HD Box acts like Sky+. I'm forever pausing and rewinding live TV.. so easy to record anything on it as well, huge hard drive built in. Trouble is, not long ago, I bought a new Hard Drive video recorder.. cost well over £300.. now I hardly ever use it, because Sky is so easy to record on the HD box.
Get it if you can.. Great..

Yep sounds great!
I do need to start with a new TV first. What make did you get? It is soooo confusing with all the different prices. Only need a 26 or maybe 32".

I got a Panasonic TX 32-LXD700 (32") Freeview built in. Picture and picture, picture in picture, and many other features..... Beware of cheaper ones, make sure you view a terrestrial channel picture, instore, before you buy. 'cos some are crap, but look good with a HD video playing in the store.

Yes, I will watch out for that thanks. My current one is Panasonic. Had that for six or seven years and that has been great.

I have various modules each one a different make. And a bunch of wires hooked up. One is RGB one is S-Video and so on depending if it is the DVD, satellite box, main receiver, vcr or whatever. All the junk stacks up over the years but it works pretty good. More wires for the speakers. I think all the home improvements around here are just adding more wires and drilling more holes in the walls. There are not many HD channels here and they want to charge an extra 20 bucks a month for it.

HD...same as here then Tom.. £10 for a few channels.. great detail where it is available.. but costs too much. Newer channels will be added, soon I hope.
