i was at the warped tour 2000 as well (or was it 2001?). I met the Lunachicks in San Francisco and while they were on tour in europe. i got a tattoo from squid (bassist) when i went to visit them in brooklyn. i don't really like theo's new sound and gina's either (bantam). i just wish squid would finally form a band! that's pretty cool! yeah..i don't like theo's new sound either. i guess it's cuz i'm not used to it. i haven't heard bantam. squid is a pretty awesome person. if she formed a band that would be great. i'm not a fan of the white stripes. i don't listen to radio that much. if i do, it's only cuz i forgot my cds or cuz i'm listening to the news. other than that, i get my music from the net, from friend, or just by going to a lot of concerts.

squid had a band called "team squid". she only played once at the lunachicks re-union show at CBGB's in 2002 or 2003. I wanted to go, but didn't get the days off. i'm still in contact with the latest drummer, helen destroy. she's in a new band called lez zepellin.

Jack Off Jill is amazing. too bad they broke up, but Scarling., Jessicka's new band, is pretty awesome too.

I like Jack off Jill....they're pretty cool....I can't narrow down to one particular genre I like though....never one for boxes and lables me.

Okay I'm really starting to get into new age music... What can I say, I've always liked nature, the world, different cultures. So a lot of things titled new age, world music or ethnic music may apply to me. Because of listening to new age I've also stumbled upon more techno and trance music. Still listen to rock and that undefinable genre 'indie' a lot though.

I like a lot of world music (for want of a better word) I know some very talented bands get frustrated by being bundled in the world music section just because they don't play typical westernised rock and roll music.

I know some very talented bands get frustrated by being bundled in the world music section Genres can be misleading. And spiteful. I don't like using genres to tell people what I listen to, and especially not to say something like new age because most people don't even understand what that means. I am really bad with genres personally. Labelling is baaad! Enigma is releasing their new CD soon. *Runs excitedly in tiny circles*
